AI Halo Infinite AI puts the Battlefield 2042 to shame

One of Battlefield 2042the main selling points are that it is similar to Battlefield 4, but more – like, the Texas version of more. Naturally, the inclusion of bots presents some surface-level problems, but one other issue immediately became apparent after I started playing the game: These bots are dumb like rocks.

Dirty AI should not drive

Subpar AI is not new to anyone who has played some of Dice’s recent games. The former affects how players are likely to spend about six to eight hours in it (for your average shooter games, at least), while the latter can ruin the game modes that are supposed to rob players hours . For Battlefield 2042, bad AI doesn’t necessarily ruin the game’s multiplayer experience, but it did leave a bad taste in my mouth.

Being stuck with 127 bots in a Battlefield 2042 lobbying, on the other hand, sounds like the fastest way to get a headache.

What is really worrying about all of this is that Battlefield 2042 releases in about six weeks, on November 19. That gives game developers Ripple Effect and Dice just over a month to improve the way of the game. The way things look right now, though, players may have to deal with the unhelpful bots when Battlefield 2042 officially launches.
