ASUS, PowerColor and Gigabyte introduce more custom AMD Radeon RX 6900 XT models

More custom models of AMD Radeon RX 6900 XT graphics cards have been illustrated coming from ASUS, PowerColor and Gigabyte. The variants are in addition to the ASUS and ASRock models that we had seen before.

ASUS, PowerColor and Gigabyte introduce more custom AMD Radeon RX 6900 XT models: ROG STRIX Liquid Cooled, Red Devil Limited and Gaming OC

Two of the three models have been officially unveiled by the respective manufacturers, while the Gigabyte variant is the only one that has been leaked on Videocardz. Of all the models, only the PowerColor Red Devil OC is listed with its final boost clock of 2340 MHz, which is a 90 MHz boost over its standard specs. The Radeon RX 6900 XT reference model already comes with a much higher maximum clock limit, so we can expect custom variants to max out at 3 GHz or more.

AMD will end production of the Radeon RX 6900 XT, RX 6800 XT, RX 6800 reference models, focus on custom AIB variants [Update]

ASUS Radeon RX 6900 XT ROG STRIX LC (liquid-cooled)

The ASUS ROG STRIX LC Radeon RX 6900 XT is a completely liquid-cooled design that makes use of the ROG STRIX Radeon RX 6900 XT PCB but combines it with the power of liquid cooling. The fluid cooler features a 240mm radiator that has braided tubes leading to a custom pump model that has been specifically designed for the Navi 21 “RDNA 2” GPU. The card deck itself is beautiful with a stunning ASUS AURA SYNC RGB lighting display and a futuristic deck design. The deck also comes with a blower type fan that will blow air through the internal chassis of the graphics card.

ASUS ROG STRIX RX 6900 XT LC Features:

  • Full coverage cold plate brings liquid cooling to matrix and GPU memory
  • Refrigeration on board for power delivery it is managed by a blower type fan and low profile heat sink.
  • 240mm radiator balances compatibility and performance.
  • 600mm tube for compatibility with EATX chassis and alternative mounts
  • Super Alloy Power II includes premium alloy chokes, solid polymer capacitors, and a series of high-current power stages.
  • ASUS FanConnect II equips a hybrid controlled fan header for optimal system cooling.
  • GPU Tuning II provides intuitive performance settings, thermal controls, and system monitoring.

As for the internal chassis, a large cold plate is said to cool both the GPU silicon and the GDDR6 VRAM found on the PCB. The graphics card will definitely be a standout design for the Radeon RX 6900 XT graphics card, offering a premium cooling design for a hefty premium. The card will be powered by a triple 8-pin connector configuration and will be well overclocked out of the box. Expect the card to cost over $ 1200 USD when it launches.

PowerColor Radeon RX 6900 XT Red Devil Limited Edition

The Radeon RX 6900 XT Red Devil Limited Edition graphics card will be PowerColor’s best offering and will feature a triple-fan, triple-slot cooling design. Each fan on the card has a total of nine fan blades that direct air toward the internal heat sink assembly. The card itself features a completely new design aesthetic on the deck that has large LED bars leading towards the rear, giving this card a more devilish look.

Both Nvidia and AMD are facing a shortage in their latest versions affecting both consumers and businesses: Intel has no shortage

Both the front cover and the back plate are made of aluminum alloy for superior aesthetics. Beneath the cover is a huge aluminum heatsink array with seven thick copper heat pipes (3x8mm and 4x6mm) running through the heatsink. There are air vents on the back plate that push air out for optimal airflow on Red Devil cards.

The card clock speeds are increased to 2340 MHz and would use a 14 + 2 phase VRM with DrMOS, high polymer caps, and would be powered through triple 8 pin connectors. Some prominent features of the PowerColor Radeon RX 6900 XT Red Devil series include:

  • Back plate The metal back plate strengthens and protects the card and offers better heat dissipation.

  • Dual BIOS The choice of BIOS is tailored to your needs: better overclocking or quiet operation.

  • Stronger components, better performance DrMOS provides superior energy efficiency and better performance, while high polymer capacitors offer uncompromising reliability. Red Devil is armed with stronger components – a 14 + 2 phase VRM ensures better overclocking and stability for true gamers.

  • Cooler Equipped with 3X8Φ and 4X6Φ heat pipes and 25% more heat sink surface area for cooler and quieter performance.

  • Triple fan The optimized 2X 100mm and 1X 90mm static pressure fan design provides more airflow and better cooling circulation.

  • RGB Featuring RGB on the side, cover, and back plate, the PowerColor Red Devil offers custom and custom colors.

The display outputs of the PowerColor Radeon RX 6800 XT and RX 6800 Red Devil include three DP ports and 1 HDMI port. The card will be available in limited and non-limited edition versions. A premium of $ 200 to $ 300 should be expected for both cards.

Gigabyte Radeon RX 6900 XT Gaming OC

Videocardz presents the first images of the Gigabyte Radeon RX 6900 XT Gaming OC. The Gigabyte Radeon RX 6800 XT Gaming OC comes with its Windforce 3X cooling system and also features a 2.5 slot design. The card features three fans with 11 fan blades each and has a plastic cover on the front that retains a matte black color theme. The card operates in an 8-pin triple power configuration and features a standard 2 HDMI and 2 DP display output configuration.

Those who want more should look forward to Gigabyte’s AORUS line for Radeon RX 6900 XT series graphics cards, which would offer a more impressive cooling solution with all the eye-catching RGB LEDs one could ask for.
