Hyderabad City / Mehidipatnam : Chitrapuri Colony Housing Society Election Entertainment Marneni Panel wins solid victory. 11 competed and 10 won. In the general category Vallabhaneni Anilkumar, Anumula Mahanandareddy, Alahari Veevi Prasadarao, Kadambari Kiran, Kongara Ramakrishna Prasad, Dora PSN, V. Praveenkumar Yadav, in the women’s category Anita Nimmagadda, Deepti Vajpayee, SC, ST category. Elegant won. Raghu Battulu won in the General category from the Komuram Venkatesh panel.
Members who voted in large numbers
Chitrapurikalani Housing Society elections ended peacefully. A total of 65 candidates, including four panels and independent candidates, contested. There are 8 general category, two in women’s category and one in SC and ST category. Polling was held from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. Following a large number of candidates inside the polling center after 2 pm and tried to get the police had been sent out to them. Several candidates objected that some of the candidates from a panel were also campaigning inside the polling station and were sent away to the polling station.
Chitrapuri Housing Society has over 4,800 members. Of these, 2,400 exercised their right to vote. The Returning Officer conducted the election process under the supervision of Sumitra, Additional Registrar, Election Authority. Steps were taken to prevent any trouble for those who came to vote. Police have set up heavy security to prevent any untoward incidents.
