Throwing news: Zimbabwean captain Sean Williams won the throw and the home team have opted to pitch first against Pakistan in the first T20I being played at the Harare Sports Club.
Pakistan have given first appearance to Denmark Aziz, a left-handed passer and orthodox left-arm bowler, as they aim to complete their squad for the T20 World Cup.
The visitors enter the contest after handing over a 3-1 loss to South Africa in a four-match T20I series. Pakistan also won a 2-1 ODI series on the tour of South Africa. On the other hand, Zimbabwe suffered a clean sweep in their last T20I series by Afghanistan in the UAE.
The other two games of the series will be played on 23 and 25 April respectively.
