The funny but relatable memes have created an uproar of laughter on social media.
The ‘discovery’ of monoliths at multiple locations has sparked an online meme festival. As the jokes about his alien links continued, the desi folks on Twitter have sparked their ideas about what would happen if monoliths were found in India. And the results are hilarious.
The glittering metallic monoliths that flicker and fail were first seen in the US and Romania and later spread elsewhere. While it was used by major global brands in the US to create memes to advertise their products, people in India are showing how the metal column would be vandalized, either with bills stuck to it or a couple engraving their names on it.
The funny but relatable memes were first triggered on Reddit and have now taken Twitter and Instagram by storm. Seeing its popularity, even government agencies and police forces also joined.

The appearance of a metal structure in the Utah desert in late November left the world baffled, even drawing comparisons to Stan Kubrick’s sci-fi classic ‘2001: A Space Age Odyssey’. However, more than his inexplicable appearance, it was his disappearance that got everyone talking and even led to crazy theories linking him to aliens.
Since then, the glowing columns have been seen and later disappeared in Romania, California, England’s Isle of Wight, Holland, and Colombia. Countless aftershocks were reported outside of many businesses in the US in an attempt to draw in the crowds affected by the coronavirus pandemic.
