Indian teams in the quarters

Guatemala City: Indian players dominate the Archery World Cup. After a long hiatus in the international tournament, the Indian archers advanced to the quarterfinals in the recurve men’s, women’s and mixed team divisions. The Indian team topped the women’s qualifying round. In the rankings, Ankita Bhakta (673) was second and Deepika Kumari (671) was third. Komalika Bari (659) finished 12th. Overall, India topped the list. In the men’s rankings, Atanu Das (680) was second, Praveen Jadhav (666) was 15th and Dheeraj Bommadevara (664) was 20th. Atanu Das, who is single with Nirudu’s wedding, and Deepika Kumari will be testing their luck in the mixed team event quarters. This is the first time since July 2019 that the Indian team has been in the ring for a World Cup circuit.
