The West Bengal government has registered three cases in the case and arrested seven. A DIG level officer inspected the security arrangements in the Diamond Harbor area where Jaypee Nadda traveled. The Chief Secretary explained that four additional SPs, eight DSPs, 14 inspectors, 70 SIs, ASIs, 40 RIF personnel, 259 constables and 350 support troops were deployed on the convoy route on Thursday.
