Juhi Chawla Starts Strong With Kolkata Riders After Fighting Chennai Super Kings

Juhi Chawla took to social media to lend her support to the Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR), who suffered a narrow loss against Chennai Super Kings (CSK) in Game 15, at Wankhede Stadium. Co-owner KKR took to Twitter, and praised the team’s effort in what was a close encounter against CSK MS Dhoni. Good batting displays by Pat Cummins, Andre Russell and Dinesh Karthik helped KKR take the game until the last over during the hunt. “Proud of our KKR team .. after such a shaky start where we looked like we had fallen …!. !!!! our boys played strong and hard, and brought it to close contest .. !! Thanks Russell, DK, Pat .. !!! @ Russell12A @DineshKarthik @ patcummins30 @KKRiders “.

In pursuit of a target of 221 runs, KKR faced a major fall, losing the top order of their batting in line with single-digit scores. Deepak Chahar Chennai blew past KKR’s main command with a four-wicket haul.

Only after the team’s middle order arrived, did the pressure begin to increase on the CSK bowling unit.

Karthik slammed 40 off 24 balls, totaling four fours and two sixes. He was sacked by Lungi Ngidi.

Meanwhile, Andre Russell scored a half-century (54 in 22 balls), but was unable to anchor his side’s pubs, losing his wicket to Sam Curran.

Australian manager Pat Cummins beat an unbeaten beat of 66 runs in 34 balls, but received no support, with KKR bowled out in 19.1 overs, having scored 202 runs. Cummins was also in four-four and six-six bags.

The win helped CSK climb to the top of the IPL 2021 League Table, with six points from four games. KKR, meanwhile, is sixth in the standings, with just one win of four games.
