+Sakshi, Hyderabad: The Telangana Pradesh Congress Committee (TPCC) is raising the issue of electing a new president not only in the Congress. While many senior leaders are vying for the presidency, the High Command is in the process of gathering public opinion. Manikyam Tagore, the party’s state affairs in-charge, who is staying in the state, met the committee leaders once again at Gandhi Bhavan on Thursday. AICC members are taking the views of the people’s representatives. He is scheduled to meet district congress presidents and PCC office bearers on Friday. Bhubaneswar MP Komatireddy has asked Manikyam Tagore to give him the PCC post. He told his superiors to give the presidency to those who work hard for the party. Komatireddy Dheema expressed that he can be put in the party if he is given the PCC post. The final decision on the appointment of the president is final, he said.
