Neetu Kapoor tests negative for Covid-19, her daughter Riddhima Kapoor Sahni shares update – bollywood

Veteran actor Neetu Kapoor tested negative for the coronavirus. She was diagnosed with the disease earlier this week when she was filming her movie Jug Jug Jeeyo.

Neetu’s daughter Riddhima Kapoor Sahni took to Instagram to share an update on her health. Riddhima shared a selfie with Neetu and wrote in the caption: “Thank you for all your good wishes and prayers. My mother has tested negative for Covid today on neetu54.”

Neetu fans wished him good health. “This is good news,” wrote one. “God bless you mom so happy to hear,” wrote another.

Neetu had confirmed her diagnosis in a statement Thursday. She said: “Earlier this week I tested positive for Covid-19. All security measures are being followed and I am grateful to the authorities for all their help and prompt response. I am in quarantine, taking medication on the advice of my doctor, and I feel better. I am very grateful for all your love and support! Stay safe, wear a mask, keep a safe distance. Beware.”

The actor was filming in Chandigarh for Jug Jug Jiyo. His film co-star, Varun Dhawan, also tested positive for the virus. However, her other co-stars, Anil Kapoor and Kiara Advani, tested negative for Covid-19.

Varun also shared the news of his Covid-19 diagnosis on Instagram, saying he ‘could have been more careful’. “So when I went back to work in the era of the pandemic, I contracted # covid_19. The production took all the precautions, but there is nothing certain in life yet, especially not covid-19. So be very careful, I think I could have been more careful. I see the messages for you to get well soon and my spirits are very high taking each day at a time. thank you, ”he wrote.

Neetu returns to the big screen with Jug Jug Jeeyo after many years, shared some images from the sets and revealed that she was ‘feeling a little scared’. She even wrote about her late husband Rishi Kapoor, who died this year in April. “Back on set after so many years. For new beginnings and the magic of cinema. I feel YOUR love and presence. From mom, to Kapoor Sahab, to Ranbir always with me … now I find myself alone, feeling a little scared, but I know that you are always with me #JugJuggJeeyo #RnR, ”she wrote.
