Drunkards rioted in an RTC bus parked on the side of the road. Fellow passengers were embarrassed. Disgusted, the RTC driver and conductor stopped the bus and lodged a complaint with the police. The incident took place in Komurambhim Asifabad district Tandur. Five youths boarded an RTC bus from Manchirala to Asifabad last night. However they created a Nana Hungama by taking a bottle of beer on the bus and drinking it. Fellow passengers were embarrassed. Women and children behaved rudely without even being seen. Frustrated with their antics, the bus driver Balu and conductor Kiran stopped the bus at Tandur in the middle of the road and dialed 100. With this, Tandoor along with the CI patrolling personnel entered the field and worked for their batons. The thugs were then taken to the station. The five passengers were identified by the police as belonging to Maharashtra. However, a fatal road accident took place at Ameerpeta Chowrasta in Hyderabad. One person was killed and another was seriously injured in the morning incident. The two youths were riding their bikes at high speed and got over the survivors. Girish Gupta from Srikakulam resides in Ravi Teja KPHB Colony. In the morning, the two friends set off towards Kookatpalli on a two-wheeler. Prama was hit by a speeding bike at Ameerpet metro station. The bike, which was speeding, overturned on the railing of the metro station. Girish Gupta’s head got stuck in the railing during this sequence. The young man died on the spot. Another youth, Ravi Teja, was rushed to Osmania Hospital with serious injuries. Doctors said his condition was also a matter of concern. The iron rods were removed with a gas cutter to pull Gupta out of the railing. The body was shifted to Osmania Hospital for postmortem.
