Rakhi Sawant has said that he had asked Sohail Khan for help after feeling a drop in his career. Rakhi joined Bigg Boss 14 as a ‘challenger’ and credited Sohail with facilitating his appearance on the show.
In an interview, she said she doesn’t want to miss out on the opportunity she has been given and thanked Sohail for helping her.
She told The Times of India, “Sohail bhai (Khan) helped me a lot. Salman’s brother sir helped me. I had sent him a message saying that Bhai I want to work in the industry and I want to do Bigg Boss. I’m not ashamed to ask for a job. Once, even Mr. Amitabh Bachchan had applied to major production houses for work. I texted Sohail bhai and asked for a job in 2020 and I think I could have talked to Salman sir. ”
She continued, “I’m not confident, but from the way things happened, I feel like I could have gotten my message across. He had sent a message of thanks to Sohail bhai and he had also thanked Salman, sir. He told me that Sohail loves you very much and I thanked him again. He helped me. Mr. Salman is very busy so I had contacted Sohail bhai in the hope that he could help me and I feel lucky that I was given a chance. “
Rakhi said that he has made “mistakes” in life, which is why he declared bankruptcy. He said he hopes to get more work after his stint at Bigg Boss. “I broke down in life and lost everything in life and now Bigg Boss is my chance to shine. I want to make a place once again in everyone’s heart and work in Bollywood, ”he said.

Other ‘challengers’ this season include Arshi Khan, Vikas Gupta and Kashmera Shah. Previously, Gauahar Khan, Hina Khan and Sidharth Shukla had entered the program as ‘seniors’.
