In this incident, Girish Gupta’s head got stuck in the railing of the metro station and died on the spot. Ravi Teja, who was critically injured, was rushed to Osmania Hospital for treatment. Doctors said his condition was critical. Police arrived at the scene, removed the iron rods with a gas cutter and pulled Gupta out. The body was taken to Osmania Hospital for postmortem. The case is being registered and investigated, said Panjagutta admin SI Nagraj. The nature of the accident is not clear.
