© Namaste provided by Telangana Road accident in Jaggayyapeta .. Three Khammam residents killed Khammam: A serious road accident took place in Krishna district of Andhra Pradesh. A car collided with a lorry parked on the Jaggayyapeta Mandal Garikapada flyover. Three members of the same family were killed. Two others, including three children, were injured. The dead included two women. The dead were identified as Atkur residents of Madhira in Khammam district. A car coming from Vemulawada collided with a lorry parked on the Garikapada flyover this morning. Shyam (60), Sharda (55) and Shyamala (38) of Macharla, who were traveling in the car, died on the spot. Bhagyalakshmi, Naveen, Manyashree (7), Gopi (8) and Akshay along with the driver Saidu were injured in the accident. Police arrived at the scene after receiving the information. Police said there were eight people in the car at the time of the accident. The bodies were shifted to Jagaiyapeta Government Hospital for postmortem while the injured were shifted to Khammam Hospital for better treatment. Police who registered a case on the accident are investigating.
