Actress Shilpa Shetty and her son Viaan had a head start on this year’s Christmas decorations. They decorated their Christmas tree with twinkling lights, ornaments, stars and hanging ornaments of different shapes.

Shilpa took to Instagram to share a boomerang video of what she called her and Viaan’s ‘favorite tradition’. In the clip, he was also seen sneakily eating a candy cane, while she made a surprised face. “Viaan thought the candy cane was delicious. Who said it was easy to be a mom. Decorating the tree together is our favorite tradition; It’s time to be happy … fa la la la … la la la la, ”he wrote.

Fans showered love for Shilpa and Viaan in the comment section. “The perfect mother and son,” wrote one. “Very sweet both of them,” commented another. “Awesome … so cute,” wrote a third.

Shilpa, who has been absent from the big screen for more than a decade, is gearing up to make her acting comeback with Sabbir Khan’s Nikamma. The film also stars Abhimanyu Dassani and Shirley Setia.

Last month, Shilpa wrapped up filming for Nikamma and shared behind-the-scenes photos and videos from the set. “The #NikammaShootWrap is a bittersweet moment for me … I’ve had a great time filming with this crazy #Nikamma group! We’ve spent so much time together that I’m really going to miss all the madness, but I’m recovering memories that will last a lifetime … all thanks to my director, Sabbir Khan, Abhimanyu and Shirley. I can’t wait for all of you to see the result of our labor of love! For now … it’s a WRAP..Yaaaaay! ”He wrote on Instagram.

Shilpa also has the Priyadarshan Hungama 2 comedy, alongside Paresh Rawal, Meezaan, and Pranitha Subhash, in the pipeline. Although both of his films were scheduled for release this year, they have been postponed due to the Covid-19 pandemic. In an earlier interview with the Hindustan Times, he confirmed that the creators of both films were interested in a theatrical release and were not considering going the direct route to digital.
