Shocking De Telegraaf Story: Quincy Promes Arrested

De Telegraaf reports that the Ajax attacker Quincy Promes was arrested Sunday morning on suspicion of being involved in a serious stabbing.

The newspaper reports that a member of Promes’ family was stabbed in July and the attacker is believed to have been involved.

At the moment, Promes is under suspicion of assault resulting in serious injuries and that could face a maximum sentence of four years in prison. He is currently in police custody and will remain there for a maximum of three days, but that could be extended based on statements from Promes.

De Telegraaf writes that Promes held a family party in Abcoude in July. He argued with a family member and reportedly stabbed him. The victim was injured and later reported the stabbing. He has suffered serious knee injuries.

The police have reportedly confirmed to De Telegraaf that Promes is in custody.
