Apart from plays like A Paying Ghost, Narendra has composed music for many films like Deol Band, Bioscope, Ubuntu, Pushpak Viman, Harishchandra Factory, Sane Guruji, Sarivar Sari. He also worked as a director at Studio Dawn Infotainment in Pune. Narendra has composed music for movies, serials and plays. Bhide has already received the Jigaurav Award five times, the State Drama Award twice, the V. Shantaram Award and the State Film Award. Leading actor Onkar Thatte said that Narendra Bhide’s death was fatal for the music industry. Filmmaker Sagar Wanjari said that they were looking forward to recording a classical song with Bhide and that the matter was postponed due to the corona. Vanjara said he would never be able to work with Narendra again.
