The movie saw Venkatesh and Varun play men who want their wives to be under their control and how their chauvinistic attitude gets them into trouble. The movie was touted as a satire on the way some men think and was well received by audiences when it was released. Following its success, the filmmakers announced that there will be a sequel soon and fans of the film have been curious to find out more ever since.
On Venkatesh’s birthday on December 13, a concept poster for the sequel, F3, has been released. On the poster, both Venkatesh and Varun, you can see the ‘cobras’ with a lot of cash. “Before it was frustration with wives. Now it’s about money. Filming on the film will resume shortly, which will also see music by Devi Sri Prasad. Promising that “more fun starts soon”, the filmmakers released a video showing the best scenes from F2 and promising that the sequel will be just as fun, if not better, with “fun, frustration and more fun” as its motto. Mehreen Pirzada had previously told the Hyderabad Times that filming on the film will resume soon, even if the filmmakers have not yet announced the date. More details are expected.
