During childhood, we all experimented with cello tapes, but as we get older, those experiments become a thing of the past. Well here’s an experiment using two Maruti Suzuki WagonR hatchbacks taped together and the results are interesting.

Crazy XYZ video shows two previous generation Maruti Suzuki WagonR hatchbacks taped together. They drive the vehicle to show what it is like to drive around a vehicle that is stuck to another.

At the beginning of the video, they park both vehicles close to each other. Numerous rolls of adhesive tape are used to join the cars. It should be noted that these are not sturdy adhesive tapes, but normal adhesive tapes that we use in our homes. The video does not mention how many rolls of tapes have been used in this video, but they do mention that the cost of all tapes used for the job is worth Rs 1,500. They show that several rolls of tape have been used to glue the vehicles. The multi-layer tapes hold the vehicles quite tightly.
Since the door can no longer be used to enter the vehicle, they enter the vehicle through the windows. Only one car catches the driver, while no one is in the other vehicle. After putting the driverless vehicle in neutral and releasing the parking brake, they begin to drive the vehicle. Both vehicles can be seen moving without any problem, but since there is no protective layer between the vehicles and they touch each other, the cars damage each other.
The direction of the vehicle in which the driver is not present can be seen moving by itself. However, this is due to the force of the other vehicle. They also do a second race in which both cars get drivers. The multiple layers of the tapes are quite strong and do not break even when drivers try to go in different directions. A much more powerful vehicle is needed to break the force of the tapes.
Should you do it?
If you ever get stuck and there is no help, will a regular tape be enough to tow the car? Well, if you ever get stuck and a cello tape is the only option you have for towing the other vehicle, it may not be the best idea to try. Instead, try making a rope out of the ribbon by winding it several times. In the real world, these experiments are useless, as we all know that adhesive tapes are quite strong and can support thousands of times heavier weight.
This experiment has been done without any conclusion and is just for fun. However, if you want to conduct such an experiment, always make sure you do it in an empty space, such as open ground.
