Punit, who spoke to us just before getting married, said: “It’s a mixed bag of emotions. Nidhi and I are trying to be as normal as possible, but after every half hour I feel a rush of emotions that tells my brain that damn Whatever. I’m getting married! Nidhi and I have talked about it, and we’d like to keep things as they are now or say how they have been since the day we met. Nothing can be better than marrying your best friend. ” The couple had first met on the sets of Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa and got engaged in August this year. Punit had previously shared that the confinement had given them time to think about all of this and they finally decided that this is the time to get married.
On keeping the celebrations low-key, he said: “We are glad that people took time off from their schedules to be part of our celebrations. Unfortunately, we were unable to invite too many people due to the pandemic.”
